''Train Out Of It'' is a compilation which the experimental rock band Swell Maps recorded between 1975 and 1981. The songs, most of them recorded at home, all celebrate a punk feel but with more psychedelic sounds and experimentation. Something which for example Sonic Youth did later in the 1980s and Pavement did on their first EPs, the only difference is that Swell Maps where more radical in their experimentation (with electronics).
